After Detroit Lake we went to Northern Nevada to the Ruby Mountains. I had never been there before, I must say that it is BEAUTIFUL!!! Darrell's dad retired so the whole family met there to camp and celebrate John's retirement. We really enjoyed it. The girls LOVED seeing their cousins again. We all went on another of the Baker's notoriously "short 1 mile" hikes. Of course it ended up being like 10 miles. But the scenery was so amazing it was well worth it.
