Detroit Lake

This summer we bought a tent trailer. We had so much fun camping and spending time together. Our first trip was to Detroit Lake and then on to the Ruby Mountains in Nevada. I just love relaxing and spending time with my fam!!

Well, this blog seems to be a biannual thing for me. I guess it is about time to update again. Like always, I will try to do better.

Yellowstone

After the family reunion we went to Yellowstone. We loved it. We saw tons on neat geysers and my favorite; the mud pots. We also saw a bunch of neat animals and they were very close to the car. We saw a bunch of buffalo, a grizzly bear, 2 bald eagles, elk, and more. We got to spend time with Jeff and Lenie also. It was a great end to a fun vacation.

Durtushi Fam!

It has been awhile since I posted anything. A big reason is because we were either preparing or traveling to our family reunion in Teton Valley in Wyoming. It is my favorite place to go on Earth. It is beautiful. My grandma had 9 children and with their kids and their kids we have a new total of 129 family members. (with several more on the way) We have the coolest, funnest family. It was so much fun to get together again and renew many friendships and make some new ones. We have always had a blast together, but this reunion was especially fun.

We had a survivor theme, complete with bug eating, challenges, an extra scary canoe trip, and camping.Go Killer Whales!

Allie and her new best buddie Ashton.

Darrell was very excited to eat his chocolate covered crickets and meal worms.

Our 4 generation picture. My mom, grandma, me and Katie.

Cute girls!

The girls preparing for a water balloon competition.

There were a lot of sweet babies there, with more on the way. It will be crazy to see how big we are in two years at the next reunion.

We also got to go the 4th of July parade in Victor, ID.

We just celebrated Katie's 1st birthday! Normally I like to make it a pretty big deal, but unfortunately we were getting ready to leave on vacation early the next morning. Hopefully Katie will not know that it was not to fancy. But we did have fun. We were lucky to have Darrell's parents here visiting. They took out to dinner. Then she tried to open her presents. Of course with two older sisters that is impossible. Then it was time for the cake massacre. Of course she was adorable and messy.

Our Ballarina

Sarah just finished a year of Ballet. She was a bit nervous to perform on stage, but she ended up being the star of the show. She spent most of the time correcting everyone else. The audience was cracking up. Hilarious!

The Wedding

The kids were all so cute! They loved being "princesses" and "helping" the bride.
